Charles County Cafe is a group blog created by Charles County residents Richard White and Heather Bartlett.

Heather and Richard were each searching for information and discussion about the state of the county, a quest that peaked during the 2006 elections. They found the lack of available public information about local political issues and candidates frustrating. Heather and Richard each tried to address local political issues and make whatever information they could find available in their personal blogs, until they finally decided to pool their resources and create the Cafe, a forum to present public information and to explain and discuss various issues.
