Charles County Commissioners
At the top of the Charles County government is the Board of Commissioners. To learn about the commissioners currently in office go HERE.
There are five commissioners – one for each of the four districts in Charles County and a president.

Charles County Board of Education
The Charles County Board of Education is a panel of seven elected officials who serve the county. They meet once per month and during the meetings there is a public forum in which you may speak. Public Information & Media Relations Office

The role of the Public Information & Media Relations Office is to prepare and distribute press releases, to handle media relations and public inquiries about County programs and services, to provide vital information from the government to the public during emergencies, to represent Charles County Government in the public and private sectors, to oversee the County government cable channel programming, to prepare County publications, to coordinate press conferences and County Commissioner events, and to handle the Commissioners' internet e-mail.
