Quote of the Day

November 14th, 2008 by .:|Tony Penny|:. · 18 Comments

I do not know what this means:

Sitting here in these chairs that I’m going to be proposing but in working with these governors who again on the front lines are forced to and it’s our privileged obligation to find solutions to the challenges facing our own states every day being held accountable, not being just one of many just casting votes or voting present every once in a while, we don’t get away with that. We have to balance budgets and we’re dealing with multibillion dollar budgets and tens of thousands of employees in our organizations. – Sarah Palin
I just…
She can't…
What?!

What is this obsession with Sarah Palin?

    She’s not in office, she’s not President-elect, or Vice-President elect…

    So why do we care?

Sounds like there is words missing. Looks lke the media is screwing around with her again. Did you here this personally and write it down?

Great question, Robert. WHY is this woman still giving interviews? Why does she seem to think that the more she talks the better she sounds? I think the obsession stems from the fact that she was SO CLOSE to being leader of the free world and she was obviously way out of her depth.

I’ll tell ya what, I wish she WOULD go away. But one cannot turn on the news without seeing ANOTHER interview with her. (Where were all the interviews when it mattered?!)
I’m tired of having her shoved down my throat.
PLEASE…go back to ALASKA, stay in Alaska and stop running for 2012.

No Jennifer it’s from a transcript of her interview with Wolf Blitzer.

Okay, so she needs to go back to Speech 101. Off to the store now…ya’ll have your little hey day with Palin again. At least she didn’t insult poor ole’ Ms. Reagan.

    :) (headshake)

I’d like to be as “poor” as Mrs. Reagan.

    dear Tony:

Sarah is doing something that allsmart politicians do — she is using on her current fame as a springboard for higher office

although she is totally uunqualified for the VP or Pres. slot, she is doing nothing wrong in my eyes
