First, they banned texting and driving. Now, they are banning hand-held cell phone conversations while driving. What the heck are they doing? Trying to make us pay attention to the ROAD? How boring! (Yes, that’s sarcasm.)

I don’t agree with AP. Just let the artist be. There are no clear cut answers on this – but personally, the AP is acting like the RIAA if you ask me.

Bring Sean Home

I watched Dateline a couple of nights ago. The story is about a loving and doting father whose very young son was taken to Brazil and not returned, despite court rulings that he was to be returned. It’s heart-wrenching and infuriating at the same time. It got me to thinking about how no matter what, [...]

Laws Made to Protect Children Now Being Used to Ruin Their Lives
January 21st, 2009 · 47 Comments
The below quote is EXACTLY how I feel about these developments. I think it is utterly REE-DICK-U-LUSS to waste time and money prosecuting this at all. It’s also humiliating for the kids involved and frankly, I think it’s damned unconstitutional! These laws were made to protect children – the spirit of the law is not [...]

Judge Considers Throwing Out Lori Drew Case
November 24th, 2008 · 1 Comment
It’s obvious that with the internet, and all this new fangled electronic stuff, that law has still been slow to catch up.
Why else would a judge even THINK about throwing out this case? It’s obvious that her intent was to emotionally harm this poor girl. Well, I would say she succeeded.
If the judge does throw [...]

The Board of Education, Commissioners, Delegates, and Senators, will NOT be meeting for their annual legislative breakfast this year because it is too difficult to accomodate everyone’s busy schedules. A US judge has thrown out a case against God, ruling that because the defendant has no address, legal papers cannot be served.

Lower drinking age is backed
August 19th, 2008 · 3 Comments
I do wonder about the wisdom of allowing all sorts of things at 18, including the ability to enter the military, and not allowing a person the ability to drink at 18 if they want. I don’t care for some of the arguments in this article. Like, not being allowed to talk to students about it. [...]
